This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Configuring anonymous access
I am setting up Fisheye for the first time. Why is anonymous access (to the source code repository) enabled by default? Is there a specific reason for that? That information is detailed here in your documentation (https://confluence.atlassian.com/fisheye/configuring-anonymous-access-298976862.html).
Thank you for any help.
I'd say that anonymous access is default because it reduces friction during product setup and evaluation.
You can easily change the default permissions in the Administration panel.
Anonymous permission is dropped(invalid) after changing other permissions every time. Do you know the reason?
After I press save button, anonymous permission is always back to default setting..
