How many features did not have Capabilities assigned each month

How can we find out how many features that did not have Capabilities assigned each month?

The Feature Fact Valid From and To columns are a combined time range. How would you switch/convert them into 1 month column?

I found a solution to generate rows for the data in between the month range in From and To columns.

There's not a report or a data extract that can be inherently used in Jira Align but within the Backlog there is an Orphan Objects button that shows how many work items don't have a parent assigned to it.  A monthly process can be setup to review and update the associations as needed.

You can select team of teams/solutions  or portfolio and select quarter, click on features. add column for points, you filter with no points assign to features.
