Hi someone who may concern,
May I ask How could I add filter in roadmap contxt to query items with tag 1 AND tag 2?
Currently, I could only create filter with condition contains tag 1 OR tag 2. So it is very inconvenient.
And I can not filter with condition contains tag1 and does not contain tag 2. Since I can only select Tag once.
So, not sure as a tool to manage so many items, such basic query function is missing?
Or maybe I did not find the right way to do it?
( BTW, when I tried to type Tag name in roadmap context, it is super slow, not sure whether it just need read all tags back? )
Thanks
From the roadmap page:
Hi @Allan Maxwell thank you for reply! we have tried this before, if we add this way, the items filter out is for tag A OR tag B. but not tag A AND tag B.
Say, we have 3 items
item 1: tag A
item 2: tag B
item 3: tag A , tag B
If we query with Tags: tag A, tag B as you show above,
The result is , all 3 items will be back, i.e. items with tag A OR tag B.
But our purpose is to only get item 3 back. i.e. items with tag A AND tag B.
Say, we plan to add tag, one for team, one for platform.
Team tag: team1 , team2, team3, team 4, team 5
Platform tag: platform1 , platform2
So, we could query items with tag team1 and platform1, we know how many work for team1 on platform1.
But in Jira align this seems impossible.
So to work around the issue, we have to combine 2 tag together, it is awkward and painful. we have to create 10 tags.
team1_platform1 team1_platform2
team2_platform1 team2_platform2
team3_platform1 team3_platform2
team4_platform1 team4_platform2
team5_platform1 team5_platform2

I don't think that is possible.

Thank you for confirmation!
Very sorry to hear that Jira align could not support so basic query requirement.
May I ask the reason why it is so difficult to support it?
Without this feature, users has to define complicated the labels, which is really painful.
Really appreciate if Jira align team could consider to implement query feature the same as Jira, which will bring great value for the customers.
Thanks.
