To my understanding all Epics in Jira Align live at the Portfolio level. But our Organization's LPM wants a way to distinguish between Epics that are Portfolio Epic Vs Program Level Epics. An additional criteria of Portfolio Epic is that they have a Budget of => $3M.
What would be the ideal approach of being able to distinguish them? Would creating a Program Container called "Portfolio Epics" be a good idea? Where the primary program on an Epic would be "Portfolio Epic" and additional programs would be the actual ART's working on the Epic. Or is this a Bad idea? How would this affect reporting on Jira Align?
What would be Atlassian's recommendation to this?
In short, Program Epics are just Features without a Parent Epic or Capability.
So are you saying that when we create an epic in Jira Align, they are technically automatically by default Portfolio Epics?
