Stories aligned to different domain/program

Hello,

I have some stories that are parented to the same feature in ADO. The feature is a cross-functional effort, where multiple teams have multiple stories as children to the feature. 

My issues is in Jira Align, it doesn't seem I can parent those stories to the feature unless they are in the same program/team as the Feature area path. Is there a workaround for this to keep the stories from being orphaned or incorrectly categorized in Jira Align?
