The user is trying to cancel as story in Jira Align, but the option is greyed out, unable to cancel.

The user has access to the Jira project and edit access in Jira Align, as well as the necessary permission from both the Lab and Platform. Could any one provide suggestions to resolve this issue?

@Rajesh This is probably best to be submitted as a Support ticket, there are a lot of variables between how your Jira Instance is set-up and how your Jira Align instance is set-up.  

Since we are unable to look at your instance with you from the Community we would need to gain a decent amount of information to assist.
