Hi all! Where can I see sent emails from Jira? We just received our first ticket and I am trying to see if the automated email response is working. Thank you!
Hi There, if you just want to see email activity, then try:
Go to [Settings] > Products > Jira Service Management > Email requests
and check view logs at the bottom,
You can also access via Service Desk Project > Project Settings > Email Requests > Logs to see activity
Tracking email traffic as pointed out above is a different story, good luck !
Recently we had a mail-related problem and Jira support was digging into the mail logs - we had a Zoom session and I watched him do it.
Clearly, there are no end-user/admin -facing interfaces, neither in the UI nor in the REST API.
So if you have a one-time problem, they will help.
On a related note: if the Jira Cloud gets many bounces on an email, it will add this mail to a deny list, and will no longer send mails to those mails
So when you talk to the support, ask them to check the deny list.
Just saw this ticket as well: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-7933

You probably will never have it natively (see ticket JSDCLOUD-4698 ) as Atlassian prefer to have you pay for a Marketplace solution...

Is there a marketplace app, I haven't seen one.

This should be provided by the vendor as an inherent part of the product. It would be highly objectionable if such basic functionality is offloaded to a 3rd-party who will, no doubt, charge extra for that

Amir, welcome to Atlassian! To be honest they just become more and more painful to deal with.
Dan, if you don't mind paying: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/4832/enterprise-mail-handler-for-jira-jemh?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
I know I don't and won't...

Alexandre, thanks for the link, but that is way too much to pay for the one feature I am looking for. I guess I will keep bugging Atlassian support every time I have an email problem, and keep asking for the Blocked Emails list to validate it.

Apparently you cannot at this time?
