Hi everyone,
I run a travel and adventure website, where we manage a lot of content, including blog posts, itinerary planning, and team collaborations. We’re looking for the best Atlassian tools to streamline our workflow.
Currently, we need solutions for:
Would Jira, Confluence, or Trello be the best choice for a small but growing team in the travel industry? Any insights or suggestions from your experience would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

hi, @Jacob Taylor ! welcome to the community!
Regarding your questions:
In my team, we manage our collaboration with freelancers using Google Docs + Google Drive + Google Sheets for tracking expences and content quality. I don't know what your process looks like and what requirements you have, but I would say this simple toolset is also worth considering
For tracking tasks, Jira is the best solution. As for checklists, it's better to use a third-party app. I recommend you try Smart Checklist for Jira by Titan Apps. It allows you to create rich checklists with headers, added links, details for every checklist item, due dates, and more. As a result, you can get reusable checklists like the one in the image below.
In fact, I've just published a blog post about a Business Travel Checklist Template For Jira. I think it can be interesting for you as it's specifically about using checklists for planning trips, so I suggest you take a look!
Hi @Jacob Taylor,
Jira does sound perfect solution for you case. And when it comes about checklist I definitely recommend you to check out the best checklist tool for Jira.
Feel free to reach out to me or our support team for any of your needs and we can even offer you exclusive 3-Month Free access.

Welcome to the community!
For you 3 needs you listed:
1: you could use confluence for organizing your blog content - and for scheduling it you could look at some automation
2: confluence will help with multiple remote writers and editors
3: Jira would be perfect for tracking travel-related tasks and checklist
Please feel free to reach out if you have more questions.
