How to use timeline view

I am using the iOS Jira app and using a kanban board I can see a timeline option at the top. How do I get the issues to display on the timeline and how do I set planned or due dates on the issues/tasks

Hi @jake - To see issues on the timeline, you will need to create epics in your project. These are the only issue types that show + any child issues in the epic.
