I’m thinking of using the Jira mobile app to stay on top of tasks and issues while I’m away from my desk. For those who’ve used it, how well does it work in real-world use? Is it reliable for checking updates, assigning tasks, or commenting on issues when you’re on the go? on behalf of (expertconsultants)

Hi @Joseph William and welcome to the Community!

I would say: give it a try and see how it goes. The app is free to install and use, so there's not much risk in giving it a spin.

For the actions you describe: yes, that works well. In my experience, all actions that do not require extensive typing of long text, it definitely does the job. Just be aware that it is not a copy of the web interface on your laptop and not all (mainly overview) features are available on/for a small smartphone screen. But that does not impact the features you mentioned in your question.

Hope this helps!
