Card fields order

Looks like today the order of fields in the card have their own hard-coded rules.

For example, Status is displayed on top in the compact view but at the bottom for the detailed view. Consequently, summary is sometimes first and sometimes second. The other fields appear either below summary or at the end bottom of the card.

Would you consider the display order of the fields be the same as defined in the fields definition? (with some hard rules like "Type is always on the left of summary", "Key and Status are on the same, dedicated line for Compact view but separate dedicated lines for Detailed view")

Hello Zaar,

You're correct we have some "hard coded" rules, but only for very few fields. For exemple, the assignee will always be in the top right corner in compat, and always at the bottom on detailed.

We had to make these designs choices, sometimes to maximize information density, sometimes to be inline with Jira, sometimes because of the nature of the data that is stored.

Best Regards,
