Is it normal that having a confluence cloud page opened for edit consumes 25% CPU while idle?

Well... the question is pretty much in the title... using chrome

Probably depends on many factors. You can check on single page like this community page vs 1 confluence page in view, then creation of new page, then edit. 

Probably depends on installed apps, macros used on page etc.
