Jira Discovery - Timeline View Granularity

I have the view set to monthly, and it appears that the months are divided into halves.  I have an idea that ends on October 27 and a new idea starting on the same day.  However, because the task that ends on October 27 shows all the way through the end of the month, and the idea that starts on 27 October shows it beginning in the middle of the month, they appear to overlap. Is there a way to adjust the granularity to days instead of half months?

Thank you for your feedback We aren't planning to add more granularity to the timeline view for the moment. This view is more meant to provide an high level view of the features that are planned for exemple for the fiscal year. We would suggest to track this level of granularity in plans, at the level of Jira work items for the moment.

Ran into this same problem yesterday. There doesn't appear to be a way to make the roadmap more granular to a date level. So a +1 for adding a date-level view on the roadmaps from me! Thanks!
