Can an insight be created that's not linked to an idea?

can you set it up so that all feedback is added as insights and only certain users can link those to an idea? Wondering if you could set it up so that anybody could create an insight and send it to product team, but only product managers can link that insight to the appropriate idea.

Hello Ksenia, 

Insights cannot be created on their own, and they need to be tight to an idea. So when creating insights your contributors will need to pick an idea to link the insight to, but you can always copy it to another idea if it's not where you'd have linked it by yourself. Since Insights cannot be abstract (created on their own) then the limit of Ideas that can be created on a JPD project should be increased otherwise Creators are forced to find workaround or avoid creating Insights which will lead in quitting using JPD.

If you want to capture feedback without linking it to ideas right away, you could take a look at Released in the Atlassian marketplace. That would also help work around the current idea limit @Andrei Bacanu
