I'm looking for a setup where customers can vote on each idea individually, either up or down.
I don't want to limit them to a fixed number of votes, since that won’t scale well as more ideas are added.
The goal is to prioritize development based on the ideas with the most upvotes.
Is there a way to implement this in Jira Product Discovery, or are there recommended workarounds?
JPD has a voting feature (you create a field of type "Vote", give everyone a budget and they can allocated to a list of ideas) but it only works from within the project, not in published views yet.
I guess that's a long way to say: that's not supported yet, for customers.

@Nikola Perisic (FYI)
Jira Product Discovery (JPD) does have a voting feature: Product Update: Introducing Voting

We migrated from LoopedIn, a tool with fewer features and a lower monthly price, to JPD because of its integration capabilities.
But our primary goal is for customers to be able to up- and down-vote a list of ideas.
We simply want an answer to the question: which idea do you like, and which one shouldn’t we pursue?
To be honest, without this feature, the $40/month is quite a lot of money.

JPD doesn't have this feature of upvoting. Instead, you can create an automation rule that will upon creating the idea in JPD to create the issue in Jira project. Within Jira, there is the option to upvote only, not down vote.
