We agree with the concept and strategy behind insights but the lack of functionality, both in depth and width, is severely limiting our operations. We will have to make a switch soon if there continues to be no way to automate and analyze insights. Insights should be able to link to multiple ideas, I shouldnt have to create the same insight 10 times if it feeds into multiple ideas and so on.
Does anyone have any experience with Atlassian external products that integrate well with Jira and promise a mature insight creation, collection and analytics flow?
Thanks, Benedict
Hi @Benedict Lubik we are going to start looking into it but it's going to be a while before you can use the new solution. If it's a blocker today you should probably look at alternate solutions in the short term.
Did you know you could copy insights between ideas? it's not perfect, but maybe it can help alleviate some of the pain? (left of each insight you have a checkbox, you can click it then click on "copy to idea" and select the idea you'd like to send it to)
thanks for taking the time to respond and sharing your position, appreciate it. We're aware of the copy feature but its just too little and feels like just an inch forward.

According to the JPD product roadmap, this is on the horizon for the next iteration:
It might be an idea to join the JPD focused group here on community if you haven't done so already (JPD Community Group ) and share your insights about the topic directly with the team.
Hope this helps!
