Timeline view feedback

I have an idea that has a start date of Jan 30 and End Date of Apr 28. My timeline view is set up to display quarterly (Jan-Mar 23 - Oct-Dec 23.

The cards that are displayed on the timeline view end at the June quarter boundary.  If I change the timeline to be Monthly, the card is the correct length but to see the end of the card requires scrolling horizontally completely off the right side of the screen.

Two Requests:

1. Have the card display the correct end date in quarterly view.
2. Have a more compact horizontal display so I don't need to scroll horizontally to see more than a few months.

Adding timeline feedback on this post...

1) The way I'd like to use the Timeline view is to automatically populate the view based on one date, using the new flexible date field (date/month/quarter).  So, each Idea has a "Target Launch Date", which could be a specific date (for near-term deliverables), a month, or a quarter (for longer-term planning).   As far as I can see now, you have to select a Start/End date fields or have to manually drag cards onto the view.

2) +1 for being able to use offset fiscal quarters, as many companies do.
