Struggling to create a public link for my roadmap - any hints?

I have done my best to follow these steps:

  • I am a Site Administrator
  • We are on a Standard plan
  • I have created a role with the permission to create public links but I still cannot enable the public link option
  • I ensured that I was not using any columns on the unsupported list

This link in the instructions is dead for me: https://wineshippingllc.atlassian.net/jira/settings/products/jira-product-discovery/access

but I followed all of the steps in the second:

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-product-discovery/docs/share-project-views/

Has anyone else struggled with this and found a solution?

Hi @Caleb Brunel and welcome to Community!

Did you turn on the "publishing views to anyone on the internet" feature in the administration? It's under Product > Jira Product Discovery > Access. Direct URL is https://yoursite.atlassian.net/jira/settings/products/jira-product-discovery/access

Hope this helps!

Thanks Manon - it did help.

That page was a 404 for me and I might just be confused about nomenclature since I thought I was a 'Site Admin' but after seeing the above I was able to get our 'JIRA administrator' to access this page and then I was able to to get it to work.
