I can't bloody find the Archive
Not asking why atlassian buried it so deeply while making the archiving action so accessible, just asking for pointers
It appears to be accessible via the ellipses next to the project name in the side nav.
Thanks! That's what I was looking for!
I keep archiving ideas that have been executed following each sprint in order to keep my backlog view uncluttered and I found it extremely frustrating that I managed to click everything on the screen with the exception of that particular ellipses..
That the search bar doesn't pick on archived ideas is another painful hurdle as a user. Sometimes you want to lookup ideas relating to a topic and the silo-ing of information makes it unnecessarily difficult.
I know nothing is easy, but if any Atlassian product person is reading this, I'd say that a proper search, one that looks not only into idea titles but also the descriptions, and (science fiction) can even pick up on different grammatical forms per search term, and then bring up result sets which include archived items with links to the archive, would be very helpful.

I wanted to give you recognition, but your name doesn't come up in the DD list (I mean, what??!) -- so Atlassian, if you hear this, you should add the option to give kudos next to the Accept Answer action, where it makes the most sense and can be a single click action.

Just a thought, but if you are just trying to unclutter your backlog view you could either set a specific label or create a field that you can set to specify when an Idea has been executed following a sprint. You can then filter out these Ideas from appearing on your view. Additionally, the Ideas wouldn't be archived, so you would subsequently benefit from those Ideas being provided in search results.

Regarding Kudos, you can hover over a users name or avatar and a popup will appear where you can give them kudos.

Hi @ori
I don't quite get your question. Did you find the archive option?
The archive can be found when clicking on the 3 dots (open the idea first) -> archive.
Although the docs say differently:

Archiving was not the issue, rather it was finding ideas that have been archived before, ideally without having to hold it in my limited human memory if what I'm searching for might be classified as archived or not..
Thanks for your help!
