Formula based on

I'd like to be able to create custom formula fields that utilize delivery data—For example, a custom field that contains the number of delivered story points.  

Or percent complete like:

 {Delivery Progress.Done} / {Delivery Progress.Total}

This way we could do sorting and filtering based on progress, or compare the number of points in the delivery epics to a pre-release estimate.

Is that something that's been considered?

As a starting point have you just tried sorting on the delivery progress or delivery status fields?
