Hi JPD team & community,
Today we stumbled upon the following use case: we have published our timeline view (= roadmap) and shared this view with a first selection of Stakeholders (= our customers) with the Beta release of this functionality.
We noticed that the comment section is visible to all users (which is good!), if you have the link; and if the settings for the view allow the comment section to be visible to Stakeholders.
We encourage our customers to elaborate with us through the comment section of the idea and contribute to it's development, but we would also like to have internal discussions, in the same comment section with our PMs (= Creators/Contributors).
In JSM projects, there is already a possibility/functionality to do this - see screenshot. We would very much appreciate the same functionality in JPD. Or another workaround, like two separate comment sections (e.g. internal vs. external) for shared/published views.
Would love to get your opinion on this, and if you would consider it to extend JPD with this feature.
Thanks!
I'm curious to see what happened to this idea? We are also working on publishing our views, and I would like both to see internal comments (like we have in Jira Service Management) and an internal description (multi-line text field) that we could use for stuff like business opportunity, risk analysis etc.
As far as I know, it's not been implemented and also not on their roadmap. Maybe @Amina Bouabdallah can give us another update 1.5 years later?
