🚀 Exciting News: Introducing "Attachments"

We heard you loud and clear and we're thrilled to announce the arrival of our latest feature: Attachments! 🎉 Say goodbye to the days of hunting through numerous issues to find essential project documentation. With Attachments, we're streamlining your workflow and boosting productivity like never before.

🔧 What did we do? (currently rolling out)

We've built a new tab specifically designed to house all attachments linked to your project's issues. This centralises your attachments, eliminating the need to know which issue they were attached to. Now, you can seamlessly search and manage attachments from one convenient location.

👉 How to Use Attachments:

1. Navigate to the Attachments tab within your project.
2. Explore all attachments linked to your project's issues.
3. Find your attachments with ease, all from one centralised location.

I would like to add to @Miguel Angel Mendoza Perez's comment and express my desire to see the Attachment tab included in Jira Software projects. Currently, we do not use other types of projects within our organization because they lack essential functionalities such as configurable boards, components, and swimlanes based on queries. Therefore, I don't see a viable way to migrate our existing Software projects to Business projects.

Additionally, we frequently work with attachments, particularly marketing assets and briefs, so having the Attachment tab would be extremely beneficial. As a future improvement, I would love to see a connection to Google Drive. It would be great if it could also gather links from work items within the same view.

What are your plans for developing this feature?
