Inline edit directly from the All Work tab

Hi,

I’m Tanya, a Product Manager on Jira Cloud, and I’m excited to share a highly requested improvement to how you manage work items in Jira. We know how important it is to quickly update multiple work items - especially when you're in the middle of planning, triaging, or just trying to keep things moving.

To help you with this, it’s now possible to edit more fields directly from the list view in the All work tab, meaning you no longer need to open each work item individually. Just select a field, make your change, and move on. It’s faster, more efficient, and designed to reduce the friction of managing lots of work items at once.

Alongside this change, we’ve also made a few more improvements. You can now:

• View and edit linked Confluence pages directly from the All work tab

• See a comment summary for a work item without needing to open it

• Copy and paste values between compatible fields

These updates are designed to make editing more seamless and accurate - saving you both time and clicks.

Thank you Tanya, Is this feature available only in List View? Or we can use it in Detailed View too?
