Jira's Home Route is Changing from /your-work to /for-you

Hello Atlassian Community!

We’re excited to announce an update to Jira’s navigation: the Jira home route is changing from /jira/your-work to /jira/for-you. Rest assured, accessing the your-work link will automatically redirect you to the new link.

⭐️ If you have previously saved a bookmark to Jira's home page, this might be a good time to update the link, since /jira/your-work will eventually be removed. 

What's Changing?

• Old Route: /jira/your-work

• New Route: /jira/for-you

• Redirect: For a transition period, /jira/your-work will automatically redirect to /jira/for-you.

Why the Change?

Previously, Jira’s home page was called “For you,” but the document title and URL still referenced “Your work.” This update resolves that inconsistency and ensures a smoother, more unified experience for all users.

Will this break bookmarks for our users and when is the redirect no longer going to work?

Any plans to update the "For you" page and spruce it up with a bit of customizability?
No one in our organization uses it because of it's rigid nature and bizarre setup.
I also never recommend it or mention it for the same reasons.

@Nena Kruljac It is currently rolling out slowly, so it will reach everyone in a week or so.

@Clay Clay Technically yes, but we will only remove the route when the traffic is very low. I would recommend updating the bookmark asap.

@Rune Rasmussen Actually yes, our team has a couple of tasks in our backlog to improve the For you page (e.g. improving the boards tab). Hopefully we can ship them soon...
