No. Leaving closed tasks in the backlog would be quite strange in itself, as the backlog is a list of things you still need to do. So, there would be a contradiction in your suggestion by itself.

It is perfectly possible to display your closed issues in Jira in many different ways. You can search for them, save your search and display issues on a dashboard, ... Just not in the backlog.
