I have a Kanban board that is ordered by epics using swimlanes
The team using the board can see the tickets ordered by epic as per the first screenshot below.
However, 1 member of the team can't see the tickets ordered by epic and only sees the issues ordered by priority. (As per the second screenshot)
This team member has the same permissions and groups assigned as a lot of other team members who can see the board ordered by epic/swimlane
Any help appreciated!
Hi thanks so much for the answers!
We figured out the user didn't have 'queries' selected on the 'group by' option on the board
Once we selected group by queries this resolved the issue and the user can now see the board ordered by epics
Thanks for your help!
@Annie Kearns Happy to hear that!

Hi @Annie Kearns Welcome to the community!
As this is a public space, please hide the project name or any other important information to protect your privacy.
- Ask the team member to ensure that the swimlane configuration is set to "Epics" on their view of the board. Click Board Settings > Swimlanes and verify that "Epics" is selected.
- Team member might have a personal filter or quick filter applied that overrides the board’s default settings. Have them clear any applied filters by selecting Clear all filters in the board’s filter options OR Review the Filter Query to ensure it includes all necessary issue types and statuses.
- Clear their browser cache and cookies. Try accessing Jira in an incognito window or a different browser.
Hope this will help!

In addition to the filter settings mentioned above, a user not seeing tickets can be a result of two things:
