Hey, I have a project with 2 boards. First of all, was a Scrum board but now the team wants to use a Kanban board. How can I migrate issues from scrum to Kanban?
I know if I am right now delete scrum board, this can delete all of these issues.
I am not that friendship with board filters, I just want to delete this scrum and make kanban the main board with these issues from scrum.
How can I do this?
Hello @Mateusz Szajek
Welcome to the community.
Is the project a Company Managed project or a Team Managed project? It will say at the bottom of the navigation pane on the left.
If you are working with a Company Managed project, then you can create a new Kanban style board based on the existing project, and delete the Scrum board. As @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- said, the issues are in the project not in the board, so the issues will not be deleted if you delete a board. You will lose access to the Scrum related reports that are associated to the Scrum board if you delete the Scrum board.
If you are working with a Team Managed project, you can switch to a Kanban board by going to Project Settings > Features. Find the Sprints feature and turn it off. That will switch a Team Managed project from a Scrum board to a Kanban board.
Boards are not containers for issues, they are a view of a selection of issues.
There is no "move between boards", you just tell your new board to select the same issues.
Deleting a board will not touch the issues it was displaying.

Hi,
You do not need to Migrate data from scrum to kanban.
Just create a new Kanban board and select the same project as source. In order to delete a board, you could go to search bar -> Boards -> hit ... for the scrum board and select delete.
Data is of course not deleted, only the board.
Cheers
