2 issues with different screen in a project

Isaias Salazar Torrealba January 30, 2019

Hi,

I would like to ask..

Detail:

I have 2 issue in a project, but one issue have an specific screen and the other issue have another screen.

example:

Activity (FIELDS): resume, detail, date, user.. (all the fields are mandatory)

Action (FIELDS): Info, description, number .. (maybe some fields will be mandatory)

so, when I create issue Activity its ok, issue was created susefully..

But when I select  issue Action and try to create, it show me a messa about  (Resume) field mandatory,  and I dont have this field in the issue Action..

I would like to konw if Somebody Can explain to me How can I fix that. Because I need  in the issue Activity all the fields mandatory  but thats fields dont will be mandatory in another issue  because the scrren its not the same.

 Best regards.

Hello,

Screens do not define if a field is required or not.

If you open the field configuration scheme for your project, you will see that this field is required there. Right now the same field configuration is used for all issue types in your project. You should create another field configuration where this field is not required and add this field configuration to the project's field configuration scheme.

You can read more about field configuration schemes here:

The required fields are set in the field configuration scheme. It is made up of one or more field configurations for the issue types in the project. You need to create a field configuration for each issue type and create a field configuration scheme that includes those configurations and apply it to the project.
