2022 Edition: Strip Signatures From Email Replies

Is Jira still not smart enough to strip signatures and email graphics from email responses? I re-enabled an incoming email handler, sent an email, and nope.

There are a few issues open in various stages of consideration. I know it is being worked and I recall there was a beta trial happening earlier but haven't heard the latest.
