This question is for the quick help of a Project Lead/Manager, who is new of project operations using 'Jira software'. Are there any quick reference of links/posts, stating on - " efficient ways of handling the issues / and efficient usage of Jira as tool!! etc."
In other project management tools; project creation is pretty much similar for any type of project ! But in Jira, it is highly customized.
Right from the FIRST step- ( In 'new' project creation); it expects you to know a lot more Jira internals (templates, issues, schemes etc.), which bothers some time!!
Thanks in adavnce.
Hi @sureshksuresh95 - You really only create projects one of two ways. You create a new project from scratch and Jira creates the corresponding workflows, schemes, etc.
Or you create a project based on an existing project - this will inherit the workflow and other schemes associated with the base project.
Yes ! I understood as user, I need not bother about workflow, scheme etc.
Let me put my question slightly different..
I look for- some quick reference / links immediately that help as first hand guide for all the new bees like me (rather going elaborate Atlasian documentation).
Thanks again.

Here is the link to the documentation which is not very elaborate and is an easy read:
