A way to set across the board for all projects to have all URLs link text default to "Display URL"?

Recently the jira comments and descriptions started replacing the full URL text with a "link preview" called "display inline".

In simple HTML, if you enter in "https://google.com", it automatically renders it in the comment it displays as

<a href="https://google.com">Google</a>

instead of

<a href="https://google.com">https://google.com</a>

To change this from Display Inline to show the URL you have to click each link and select the way you want it displayed.

This is an issue in web dev as seeing the complete URL in the ticket is way more helpful than replacement text that you have to click thru or mouse over to see the URL for.

Is there a way to set across the board for all projects to have all URLs link text default to "Display URL" instead of "Display Inline"?

I am using the New Issue View for Jira Software Cloud.

Editing to mention this feature is called "Smart Link" for people who search for this.

Hello @Vanessa

It doesn't appear that there is an option to disable this, but I did find an issue in JIRA's backlog

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-72429

Credit to @Andrew Kendris for posting that issue link in this post:
