Hi Guys, I am a beginner, plz guide me about this scenario about a story/ issue created in Jira ;
Lets say I created an issue (lets consider completing a task of login / registration screen in a mobile app) in Jira. It has a normal priority with 3 story points.
Lets say the Sprint under which this issue is assigned, ends in couple of days from date of creation of this story (assume the story is created on 1st Sept 10 AM and Sprint ends at 3 Sept 6 PM). But this issue's status remains in progress on scrum board even when the Sprint comes to an end.
What will be the status of the Sprint at 3 Sept 6 PM in this case ? Will it get completed itself on scrum board along with this issue or will it (by default) drop this issue from the Sprint, move it to backlog and show rest of issues as done and the Sprint will be shown as completed?
Kindly guide me on this.
You'll get to choose when it's time to complete the sprint. For all the Issues that are not done, you will decide where to move them, as shown in the screenshot below:
Thanks for your reply @Alex Koxaras _Relational_ , will this also give me option to move it to product backlog, if I have only one sprint defined so far?
