I am a JIRA admin and users are reporting issues to access a specific software project.
I've confirmed all users have access to JIRA and the right permissions for the project, but when trying to access they receive the errors "You don't have access to this work item" or "Project not found".
What can I do to fix the issue and grant them access to the project?
Thanks in advance!
Hello @Marta CORIA ,
Good day, Welcome to Atlassian Community.
Is it possible for you to share Permission scheme with us and let us know, which role you are providing them?
This will help us to understand the root cause
I assume, they all have proper licenses assigned (Jira license for Software projects)
Hi Akhand,
I have a default permission scheme for the project, role granted is developers and all users belong to the same group.
I confirm they all have Jira licenses and can log in, but aren't able to see the project.
The strange thing is that this is a group of developers where some users can access, some cannot.
Looking forward to your advice!

Hello @Marta CORIA ,
Thanks for the response.
So,
1. In Default Permission scheme Developer Role is having "Browse Project' Permission.
2. You have added a group, that contains these Developers to the Developer Role or added all the required individuals to Developer role
3. They all have required Licenses and are able to login.
With above 3 done, can you confirm, how they are trying to access project, after logging in?
1. Are they accessing it via URL or they are trying to search Project from view All Projects and not able to see it?
If they are trying to access it via URL, just review it once they might have a board URL and filters used in board is restricted.
If they are not even able to see the Project from View All project, I would request you to check once with Atlassian Support team from Atlassian Support.
