Access jira cloud throug VPN

guillermo.casco@grey.com September 13, 2021

So right now we have Jira onprem and the idea is moving to Jira cloud.

The access to jira server  is posible through VPN (FortiClient ).

Is there a way of going to Jira cloud and mantain acces througt that VPN?.  Perhaps creating a tunnel or something like that ?

Yes, you can use a VPN, but your Cloud systems will still be public, not contained within your network.

What you can do is have your VPN have a known exit point (or several points) back out on to the internet, and, assuming you have a premium subscription, use ip whitelisting   to lock down your Cloud so that it can only be used by your VPN exit points.
