Hi Guys

I already have my jira instance running over https. I have recently upgraded my jira (on a separate server) and I am planning to switch production users to the new upgraded server by amending the DNS.

My question is will my old certificates be valid or do i need to install new certificates for the new jira installed on the new server.

Note: The old keystore file is present on the new server as it was cloned form the old server.

Rahul

In case the new server will replace the old one by using the same hostname within the same domain, you can reuse the same certificate. Otherwise, you will probably need a new one for the new server.
