Accountid in comments when using jira cloud for sheets

when importing to Sheets, users that are tagged in comments show up as [~accountid:5f3ac49d73a2685161d5db237]  

is there anyway to have it show their name instead of the accountid or even better insert the tag into the comments?

Thank you for reaching out.

I'm afraid there are no other formats to export mentions to Google sheets at this moment. In fact, I'm afraid exporting the name of the user in the mentions would not be a good idea, as multiple users can be added with the same name and cause confusion.

In order to identify the mentioned user in an intuitive way, we have a feature request to consider the displaying of the email address instead of the account ID:

Ability to export mentions with the email address instead of the Account id in Jira Cloud for Google sheets
