I noticed it last week.
We have several users now showing as former user...I have confirmed that this user does have an active account...

Not sure if this is relevant or not, but are you using SAML or made any changes to the users on the backend of the system that would cause them not to be syncing?
No we are not using SAML. It is single-sign on technology. Our Jira accounts aren’t linked to anything. It is a completely independent system.
