Activity Bar "missing" for Google Apps/OnDemand instance

During our evaluation period, it looks like we are unable to get the Activity Bar to show up in our browser(s) (i.e. Firefox, IE, Safari or Chrome All lastest or -1 versions)

Should we have to do something to enable this feature?

I am having the same issue. Where is the activity bar supposed to show up? I do not see it.
