Add 'Request Participant' field to SCRUM software project?

Erik Jacobsen December 7, 2018

We are trying to add the 'Request Participant' field to our software project. The field is added to the correct screen. When I click on the 'Where is my field?' button it shows:

"The 'Request participants' field should be present on the form you are viewing."

"Field 'Request participants' is in the scope of the project 'Project_name' and issue type 'Story'."

"The 'Request participants' field is enabled by the 'Default Field Configuration' field configuration associated with this issue."

"The field 'Request participants' is present on the screen 'My_screen' configured for this issue."

Still not showing anywhere on the screen. Tried refreshing, waiting for a period of time, still nothing. Has anyone else struggled with this issue? Is it even possible to add a 'Request participants' field to Software projects?

Hi @Erik Jacobsen,

Is the field NULL? If so, try going into the issue's edit view and 1) adding it via the "Add Field" option under the Admin button and populating it with data. I've noticed that several of my custom fields need to have data in them in order for them to show up.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for the response Scott. When I use the "Find Field" or "Add Field" it says the field is on the form. When I use the permission helper it shows that I don't have permission to edit issues?? I'm able to edit every other field.
