Add a custom field to a bug ticket for 1 project only

I have 1 project that needs  custom fields on a bug ticket, can you please tell me the correct steps in order to make this happen.  I created the custom fields but I cannot seem to get the screens and schemes matched to the project.  So hopefully going step by step I can get this to work correctly.

Hi Trena - I would edit the custom field to add a context for just that project. Then you can add the field to all the screens if you like.

The steps you have to do are as follows:

  1. Create a new screen that you want to use for this bug in the specific project, easiest is to copy the existing one.
  2. Create a new screen scheme that the project will use for the bug issue type.
  3. In the issue type screen scheme that the project use, associate the new screen scheme to the bug.
  4. Create the new field and associate it with the new screen you created in step 1.
