Hi everyone,
I wonder if there is a possibility to add a 'Form' to the 'Create Issue' screen.
currently I managed to create a 'Form' link the required form fields to Jira fields.
but the creation of the ticket is preformed using a different link to the Form, and not from the 'Create' button at the upper bar of Jira.
Is there a way to submit the form from the 'Create Issue' Screen ?
I'm asking that because in General, I wanted to use the 'Form' section hide/show capabilities so I can use it in the 'Create Issue' Screen.
Thanks !
Hi @Tal Sabag,
It can be complicated sometimes as Jira has 3 different types of projects:
I could add that on top of that they also come in company-managed and team-managed flavours, but let's keep that out of the picture for now.
Each project type has its own specific feature set (and licensing model). It happens that the only project where you can actually embed a form in your create screen, is in service projects. Since your question is categorised under Jira Software, that won't work.
Hope this helps!
Indeed, thanks a lot !
And to do it in Service projects ?
how is that possible ?
Currently I managed to add the form to the request type only, and not from the 'Create Issue' screen
