What is the impact to existing projects and existing issues, if I add additional issue types above the epic issue type in the hierarchy? Will everything work as before for all existing projects and issues? Thanks in advance.

Hi @hans wurst

There should be no impact on existing projects of adding in an additional hierarchy level above epic.  I did it and none of the other project teams have ever noticed as I only added the new ticket type to specific projects'

Adding to this...

I just want to emphasize that there is no impact when new issue types are created and added to those additional levels.

If you moved existing, in-use issue types from their current level to the new levels, that would impact the existing projects that are using those issue types.
