Add an Test Execution result to a Jira Test case using JIRA REST Api

I want to bulk upload test execution results using Jira Apis(if any). I have an automation suite which runs on daily basis(regression) and need to update the results with proper Pass/Fail and logs against a test case. For eg, I have a test case X with few steps, I want to add new test result against it as per my automation regression suite test result. As of now we are updating a test result manually against a test case (post completion of tests executed using automation suite). I want this process to happen automatically using Jira Api. Please let me know if we have any relevant resource for the same. Also, i don't see any relevant information on this page - https://confluence.xpand-it.com/display/XRAY/Test+Executions+-+REST . Please help me with some samples if possible.

I don't know the hosting details but an item in Jira has link structure as below:
