Add an action to my custom field selection

I have a multiple selection list, by which i added a new label.

This label in the field specifies a teams name, and when you select the relevant label in the field it must assign that story to the associated team's board.

My question is, how can i get that field label value associated to the team so that it shows up on their kanban board.

I have managed to sort it out myself - the associated value can be specified in the board query. I also had to map all statuses to my relevant columns in the board otherwise they would not have shown up.
