Add columns to the issue links section

Is it possible to add columns to the issue links section?

I found that for sub-tasks, in advanced settings, you can easily do that by changing the properties of jira.table.cols.subtasks .

However, such a property does not exist (anymore) for issue links.

Without using Issue Matrix (paid add-on), does anybody have a way of adding more fields in that section? We would particularly need "Fix Version/s" and a custom text field.
