Add comment template while closing issue

Requirement: Add comment (template) when user closing a issue

Conditions: Resolution should be 'Fixed'

Template: 'Some data as template'

Behavior/ScriptRunner installed.

Hello,

To set the Resolution you can either set the default value of the resolution to Fixed so that if another resolution is needed the user has the option to change it or if you want to verify the field is always set as "Fixed" add a "Update Issue Field" Post Function on the transition to set the resolution to that value when the closed transition is executed.
