Add description to choice in field

Hi,

Is it possible to add a description when choosing a choice in a single list? For example, if you hover over the choice, you get a description that comes up for you?

Hi @Drishti Maharaj ,

There is no such inbuilt functionality available in Jira. All i can think is if you have Script runner, then make use of behaviours.

I would add a locked text field right below 'Cyber Incident Categorization' which gets populated with values (description in this case) as users select the select list option.

You still need to explore on the scripting, maybe start with Setting a default Description .
