hey all,
scenario i'm looking at:
ticket is logged and when we receive a response from an external vendor we add comments and apply a label accordingly.
however this label is already with in this comment.
is there anyway to tag a label from a comment field so if i added "Update" it'd add the label of "Update" for example
thanks
Hello Lee,
I guess your scenario is realizable - have you used/tested automation yet? If not, I totally recommend that you attend e.g. the webinar "Automation for Jira". In this I got all the basic information I needed to experiment and successfully implement automation rules. It also refers to a rule playground, where I (just because I was curious) tested a simple automation regarding your scenario. It should work in some comparable construction like this:
You find the playground here: https://docs.automationforjira.com/rule-playground/
Hope this helped, if not, don't hesitate and specify your problem :-)
thanks Sebastian thats a great help and should definetly give me some footing to build a solution.
will check out that webinar today! :)
