Hi,

Is there any way through Jira/Plugin etc to add users in Jira from an external source which is not an Active directory or Ldap?

Use Case: I have a website  (php/mysql) where i have users registred, i want to add them somehow in my jira but not importing them manually as i need them to use the password they setup in my website...and the password management needs to be on my website and not in Jira... they need to be just normal users on Jira.

Thanks,

Jira needs a directory of users of some sort.

It has one built into it (called "embedded Crowd") and also supports AD, LDAP and Crowd, amongst others.

Unless you want to write your own directory system, or apps that can connect your systems to those, you will need to choose a supported directory system and have your website write user accounts there.
