Added people won't show up

Hi there,

I am currently having some issues regarding Jira.
I can add people to my Jira Software and they will be displayed in the user management, but they won't show up in the overview of persons and teams in Jira directly.
Also I cannot create teams in Jira, they won't show up.

Added people can create issues in projects but they also won't show up in the "Assigned to" field and other auto completion fields.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Am I doing something wrong?

Welcome to the Atlassian community!

For users to show up in the Assignee field they need to have the Assignable User permission in the project, for Company Managed projects. Refer to this document for more information.

In order for you to see any users in a user picker field, you must have the Global permission for "Browse users and groups". Refer to this document for more information:

Regarding creating Teams, are you unable to create a Team or are you unable to add people to the Team?

That solved my problem. I totally forgot add myself to a project group.
The fix also solved the problem with the team creation.
